Why people in Novosibirsk use Strangr
Novosibirsk is a huge city. As one of Russia's biggest cities, Strangr is full of locals — and people abroad who want to talk to someone from home. Voice-only means you can have a real conversation without performing for a camera, and the anonymous-by-default setup keeps it low-stakes.
Whether you're local and want to talk to other Novosibirsk residents, or you're abroad and missing home, the country filter narrows the matching pool to people who actually live in Russia. Conversations from here go everywhere — local cafe recommendations, dating in the city, weather complaints, politics, you name it.
